The winners of Eurovision and E100 in Help Ukraine Center

On everyday basis, Help Ukraine Center in Lublin employs nearly 150 volunteers involved in providing humanitarian aid to the citizens of Ukraine. From the very beginning, E100 attempts to take active part in this help, donating fuel cards enabling transport of goods and funds for humanitarian aid.

On Tuesday, the aid centre was visited by extraordinary guests – the Ukrainian hip-hop band Kalush Orchestra, the winner of this-year Eurovision. The musicians met with the volunteers, answered the questions of their fans, posed for photos and, on special request, sand the winning song “Stephanie”, which defeated Great Britain and Spain during the 66. Eurovision Competition in Turin in mid-May. The band helped also in packing the gifts from E100 to the truck. The gifts will be supplied to the persons in greatest need in Ukraine.

The band leader, Oleh Psiuk, emphasized that by the band’s presence in such sites as Help Ukraine Center and concerts throughout Europe they want to make people aware that the war in Ukraine is still pending.
