Gifts for a new family

In mid-January, the ninth family-type children’s home was opened in Brest, Belarus. Maria and Andrei Kozlov won the competition announced by the Education Department for the position of parent-educators, took training courses at a social and pedagogical center and became parents for six children aged 5 to 13 who were left without parental care.

According to the head of the family, the decision to take custody of the children appeared a long time ago.

"Our two daughters are already students. Therefore, more and more often me and my wife began to discuss the possibility of adopting a child. Although this is a great responsibility, the desire to share warmth and love with those who need it is much stronger," Andrei Kozlov said.

On January 19, the family moved into a new spacious and comfortable house. The "Novoye Pokolenie" Foundation could not stand aside and presented the little newcomers with many gifts.
